From zero to hero, Success Story of SuperStar Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.

Today on the 75th birth anniversary of the legend actor Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, we are going to share with you his success story. The story of his life was full of troughs and crests. At the peak of his career he struggled a lot and saw failure in a mature age as an actor. But is the second phase of his life he claimed back his throne of super-stardom. You will be shocked to know that once Big B was rejected for his voice, gangly height and not having a ‘camera conducive face’.
Today the history has reversed, the whole world is a big fan of his baritone voice, commanding height and striking face. In 1969, he narrated his voice for the National Award winning film Bhuvan Shome. His first acting role was in Saat Hindustani. In won his first Filmfare Award in 1971 for the film Anand for his acclaimed role of a cynical doctor. Another notable film of his early career was Bombay to Goa.
Then in 1963 he landed his biggest, most legendary role in Zanjeer. After this he made a film named Abhimaan with his wife Jaya Bachchan which had a successful run at the box office. He secured his position as the top actor by his role in movies like Deewar, Sholay, Kabhie Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, Mr. Natwarlal, The Great Gambler etc. In 1982, while he was filming the movie Coolie, he met with an intestinal injury. The accident proved to be a near death experience with a bad case of splenic rupture and huge blood loss. Later, he was diagnosed with Myasthenia gravis which sent him into a pessimistic state of mind and he decided to quit films.
After so many failures he came back to stardom with Mohabbatein where he played an elderly, stern teacher. He also made  several successful family dramas and acclaimed moviesl ike Ek Rishtaa, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Baghban, Khakee, Dev and Black. Black won him his second National Film Award for Best Actor. He also hosted popular television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Big B is a truly inspiration to many actors of generations below him. Today Amitabh Bachchan has turned 75 and he still going strong and never bogged down with age.
