4 Inspiring Success Stories For IPS Aspirants.
We always keep on criticizing policeman and officers that they are not performing their duties well. Although we all know that in our country corruption is spread in the roots of its administration but still there are some officers who are keeping the spirits high and because of that we can say proudly that honesty is still alive.
Here I am going to share with you about some of those officers in our administrative system.
B Chandrakala is a Member of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) since 2008. She became 2nd Female District Magistrate of Mathura District, India. She was also deputed as SDM in Allahabad. She is very honest & hard working IAS Officer. She had recently been appointed as director of ‘Swacch Bharat Mission’ and deputy Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation in center government. She has worked extensively for ‘Clean India’ campaign while she was discharging her duties as the DM of Bulandshahr, Bijnor and Meerut. Also she is very active on her social media profile. Actually it all started when her video where she was scolding a local contractor went viral over the internet. Nowadays she has become one of most followed government official on social media with more than 63 Lakhs followers on facebook.
Shivdeep Waman Lande
Shivdeep Waman Lande is an IPS Officer of 2006 Batch who currently transferred to Maharashtra on Central
deputation. Earlier, he served as the Superintendent of Police in Araria, Purnia and Munger districts of Bihar. He
also served as the SP of Patna (Central Region), where he was quite popular. He arrested many criminals, ranging from fake cosmetic sellers to medicine mafia. Lande became a hero among young girls of the cities, as he took strict action against eve-teasers. He has now been posted as deputy commissioner of anti- narcotics cell in Mumbai police. Lande’s frequent operations to wipe out gangster activity ensconced him in the popular imagination as a real-life ‘Dabbang’.
Some call him Dabangg, others have respectfully given him the royal name of ‘Singham’. I am talking about Bihar cadre dare devil IPS officer Manu Maharaj. These nomenclatures are attached with him not just on flimsy ground. He is really the real life Singham. It should also be mentioned here that Manu Maharaj started to keep Singham style moustache only after seeing Ajay Devgan in Singham movie. You will hardly find an IPS officer who keeps on smiling even under tough circumstances. He generally avoids using harsh words against suspect. His style of working is quite unique. He rarely uses revolver. He doesn’t believe in encounter. When he was posted at Rohtas, he did something unique. He persuaded large number of naxallities to surrender.
Navneet Sikera IPS (Uttar Pradesh 1992) presently posted as IG, Woman Power Line with additional charge of PAC central zone, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh Police. He was responsible for crime control in the state when he was posted as DIG, Crime Control, Lucknow and on the way to the same he became Encounter Specialist of UP with more than 60 encounters. His name was like a terror for the goons and mafia. Currently he is working for the safety of women and launched 1090 Power Line for Women Safety, Domestic Violence, and Harassment on Social Media etc. This help line is kept very much secured and quick action is taken by the team of special officers appointed for the task.
If you want to see a daredevil and inspiring woman police officer, you need to just take a look at the illustrious career of Manjil Saini Dehal. She is first female SSP of Lucknow. Saini’s first posting was in Moradabad as an ASP. She started to impress citizens and her senior police officers from very first day. Two years later, she became an international sensation for unearthing the most inhuman kidney scam of India. Since then, she has been termed as the super cop of UP Police. She is India’s first married woman IPS officer and has two children. Currently she is posted in Lucknow and moreover she is the in charge of special task force heading the security of UP Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath.
