Anita Hassanandani Reddy is the new celebrity to enter the startup world.

Anita hassandani Reddy is an actress and model who started her career with modelling and later made her debut in TV with ‘kabhi sautan kabhi saheli’ in 2001. She followed it with her debut in Bollywood with ‘Kuch toh hai’. This beautiful actress is all set to launch her own line of signature bags for women. Yes ! That’s true, Anita’s husband Rohit Reddy has bought a large stake in an upcoming online startup called TheBagTalk.com.

TheBagtalk.com has partnership with High Spirit Commercial Ventures in Mumbai, a bag manufacturer and exporter which retails its priority bags through offline retail chains of outlets across the country. Jain is the owner of High Spirit Commercial Ventures Pvt Ltd (HSCV). Anita will be designing and launching her line of bags for women through this portal. While speaking to her about this development she said, ” I am excited to be a part of this business venture.

Rohit feels I have a good taste and this venture should work good for both of us. This was an unexpected gift, I am very excited about it.” Apart from this, thebagtalk.com will also offer other signature lines from Ekta Kapoor and Trekking & adventure gear from Rannvijay. The venture was created with a initial capital of about $600K (INR 4 Cr.) with contract manufacturing from HSCV’s current set-up.

“The transaction will be completed on our online portal to begin with. We’re looking into a compelling online-offline integrated model, where customers could touch and feel the products before confirming their purchase. Assisted ecommerce model is also something we’re considering as well as same day delivery through our retail partners,” said Rohit Reddy, CEO of TheBagTalk.com. “The company already has established presence across 43 locations in the country with its own depots. This would facilitate quick delivery and easy returns for the customers,” added Reddy.
